At Nubanusit Neighborhood & Farm we have created an old fashioned neighborhood in a new way. We live in "green", environmentally designed quality built, super energy-efficient homes with low monthly costs. Our homes are clustered along pedestrian ways adjacent to our farm fields and the Nubanusit River. We have a spacious Common House; professional office and studio space in the renovated historic farmstead; an organic farm; woodlands with trails; and a pond for swimming and skating. We are located on 70+ acres about a one mile walk along well-maintained sidewalks from the center of Peterborough, a thriving small town and regional arts and cultural center made famous by Thornton Wilder's play Our Town. Peterborough is situated in the heart of the Monadnock region of southwestern New Hampshire, just a 90-minute drive from Boston, the seacoast and the White Mountains. |
